We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Customer Service Trainer with a strong background in corporate or institutional banking. This is a unique opportunity to train and mentor senior banking professionals.
This opportunity will include 3 in-person workshops, about 6 hours each, and 4 weeks apart to be conducted in Newark, NJ (Please do apply if you're willing or able travel to do this portion of onsite work)
You will be leveraging your extensive experience in client interactions, client investigations, regulatory interactions, and collaboration with senior banking operational staff to deliver exceptional customer services training for our banking client.
If you are passionate about developing and delivering effective training programs, and have 15+ years of Corporate or Institutional banking expertise, combined with experience leading customer services focused training for key senior personnel, you should apply
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive training programs for customer service teams, focusing on corporate and institutional banking related customer services processes and needs.
- Conduct training sessions onsite in Newark, NJ.
- Collaborate closely with senior banking operational staff to ensure training content aligns with current practices and regulatory requirements within their specific organization and training plans.
- Develop training materials, including manuals, job aids, and interactive eLearning modules, to support customer services focused training initiatives.
- Lead client interaction simulations and case studies to provide practical, hands-on training experiences that resonate with learners.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously improve training content and methodologies.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to trainees if required, to ensure they are effectively applying learned skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in corporate or institutional banking, with significant client interactions, client investigations, and regulatory interactions.
- Proven experience in preparing, and facilitating customer services training within corporate or institutional banking domains.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple training programs and priorities effectively.
- Experience collaborating with senior banking operational staff and understanding their workflows and requirements, from a customer services perspective.
- Proficiency in developing and delivering training content using various digital tools and platforms.
- Ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
- High level of adaptability and willingness to stay current with industry changes and trends.
