TICKET SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE-SIGNATURE THEATRE
Signature Theatre, one of New York's leading off-Broadway theatres, is seeking a TICKET SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE for The Pershing Square Signature Center on West 42nd Street.
About Signature
Signature Theatre is an artistic home for storytellers. Founded in 1991, Signature Theatre celebrates playwrights and gives them an artistic home, producing several productions annually. In 2005 Signature began its groundbreaking Signature Ticket Initiative, providing affordable tickets to all its productions. In 2012, Signature opened The Pershing Square Signature Center, the Frank Gehry-designed 75,000 square foot Center featuring three theatres, two rehearsal studios, a central, public lobby with a caf and bookstore, as well as administrative offices.

Position Summary
Ticket Services Representative is a part-time position and reports to the Ticket Services Manager. The position is part of a team that represents the call center, concierge, and our downstairs box office in the multi-venue facility. Currently, this is an in-person position. The position is part-time and non-exempt with a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidates must have experience with ticketing systems in a professional capacity. Tessitura experience preferred.
Compensation
Ticket Services Representative is a part-time (15-20 hours a week) non-exempt position. The hourly rate of pay is $18.00 per hour. Hours worked that exceed 40 hours in a work week will be paid at the overtime rate of $27.00 per hour. Sick pay and personal paid time off hours are accrued.

Responsibilities
- Work in person to answer busy inbound phone queues and work in the on-site box office to sell and exchange tickets with Tessitura ticketing system and provide excellent customer service.
- Work closely with the Signature Theatre Development Department to increase contributed income through add-on donations, up-sales, and other initiatives.
- Respond daily to Ticket Services email inquiries.
- Process exchanges and refunds.
- Troubleshoot customer service issues.
- Maintain relationships with our loyal base of subscribers and members.
