As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electronics Engineer to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).
Qualifications:Experience in design, prototype fabrication, test and debug, and production of microprocessor-based data acquisition instrumentation systems.
Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Perform specification reviews.
Participate in firmware creation for programmable logic devices such as DSPs, FPGAs, and CPLDs.
Participate in hardware and firmware design reviews.
Familiarity with analog and digital circuitry, hardware/software interface analysis, ground and satellite-linked data communications.
Test and troubleshoot PCBAs and system level electrical systems.
