Required Licenses Must have a current Alabama Registered Nurse license or a current Compact State Registered Nurse license Required Skills * Handle with Care certification and American Heart Association * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire or transfer. * Must have an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), * Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS), and * National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 90 days of hire or transfer. * Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) is preferred within one year of employment/eligibility. * EMTALA & EHAC training in Healthstream upon hire and once each year following. Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
