Job Description:
As a Senior Digital Product Manager you will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of our digital product portfolio in AgTech space. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of business development, marketing, sales and technology team to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and deliver high-impact digital solutions that adds more value per acre for the rice farmer, generate value for the ecosystem service and drive global business growth. Your role will be instrumental in digital platform and product portfolio that expands our offering service driven digital solutions.
Product Strategy: Understand the lifecycle of a software product from inception and ideation to design and development. You develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy, aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Requirements Gathering: Experience in kicking off new projects and facilitating workshop activities at the beginning of a project and throughout the project as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and stakeholders, to define detailed product requirements and user stories.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with marketing and business development teams at the onset of a project to convey the business challenges of our farmer and sales team that support them. Regularly update stakeholders on the product's progress, changes, and milestones.
User-Centric Design: Translate user interface designs and technical requirements into well written user stories with acceptance criteria, and you can help developers and QA testers understand the requirements and estimate the effort involved in developing those features. Ensure that user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) are at the forefront of product development, working closely with design teams to deliver intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
Product Execution & Delivery: Expert in Scrum/Agile and iterative software development practices and you lead team activities including daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives. Manage the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential gaps in the market.
Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility. Negotiate with stakeholders on product roadmap and timeline within the constraints of budget & development timelines.
Metrics and Analytics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and iterate on product improvements.
Customer Feedback: Collect and analyze customer feedback to make data-driven decisions and prioritize feature enhancements.
Product Management: Manage the scope, budget, requirements, timeline, product deliverables, and other nuances of project delivery Manage the product budget and allocate resources effectively.
Qualifications:
Proven 5+ years of experience as a Digital Product Manager or similar role, with a track record of successful product launches and improvements.
Strong understanding of digital technologies, software development processes, and Agile methodologies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of UX/UI principles and design thinking.
Bonus Points
Experience in the agriculture industry building digital solutions for farmers and advisors
Experience designing platform-based solutions that connect two sides of the market, for example, farmers to Client companies.
Building product around sustainability space such as carbon marketplace.
