ManpowerGroup EHS Manager Little Genesee, New York Apply Now Manpower is assisting a great company near Portville, NY in hiring an EHS Manager. This is a direct hire opportunity. The right person for this role should have great communication and collaboration skills and bring a positive attitude. Having a background in construction and current OSHA certifications are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Include: Design, develop, and enforce EHS programs and policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Regularly update EHS policies to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practices. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards within the steel fabrication environment. Develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate identified risks. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and maintain required EHS documentation and records. Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientation, ongoing safety training, and emergency response. Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship among all employees. Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures. Maintain records of incidents and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with Maintenance Personnel on waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation programs. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies. Manage hazardous materials and ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal. Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Coordinate emergency drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness. Work closely with all departments to integrate EHS considerations into operational decisions and processes.
