JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for executing the Human Resource activities of the Company and it's employees including, but not limited to, the identification of job requirements, employee recruiting, onboarding, staffing, attendance, evaluations, orientations, training, wage requirements, internal relations, discipline, insurance, labor laws, accidents, safety, payroll, employee personnel forms, and productivity. Maintains employee personnel files, records and computer database. Coordinates Company special activities and functions. Responsible to establish and enforce policies and procedures related to Human Resource functions. Must perform job in a

proactive manner and promote Continuous Improvement. Must represent Company in a professional manner at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Complies with all rules of the Company Handbook.

2.Complies with all applicable Work Instructions.

3.Complies with all applicable Procedures.

4.Complies with all applicable Policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS, RECRUITING AND STAFFING:

1.Establish and maintain recruiting programs, policies, and procedures.

2.Keep Company staffed with qualified employees.

3.Ensures Production Operators are replaced immediately as to not affect operations.

ATTENDANCE:

1.Review attendance reports and issue attendance warnings when appropriate.

EVALUATIONS:

1.Issues evaluations to the required Managers on the required frequencies.

2.Ensure the evaluations are complete, accurate, signed and evaluated by the appropriate Executive Managers.

ORIENTATIONS AND TRAINING:

1.Ensure all new employees are given proper orientations and that those orientations are documented.

2.Ensure that when employees are transferred to a new position, a copy of the new job description is forwarded to the appropriate Executive Manager and is reviewed with, signed by the employee and filed in the employee file.

3. Identifies sources of training and reviews training effectiveness according to procedures.

PAYROLL:

1.Processing of payroll transactions including hourly wages, salaries, bonuses, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other miscellaneous deductions.

INTERNAL EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:

1.Establishes programs to promote the welfare of employees and the relations between the Company, Management, and their employees.

2.Promotes a good Company image to and between employees.

3.Identifies and takes corrective action on issues affecting internal relations with employees.

4.Promotes harmony and teamwork between the Company and employees.

5.Notifies the appropriate manager of any employee grievances of complaints.

DISCIPLINE:

1.Ensures all Company disciplinary procedures and policies are followed.

2.Acts as an advisor and witness to employees receiving discipline.

3.Ensures all disciplinary documentation is accurate.

4.Issues productivity and attendance warnings on a weekly basis.

INSURANCE:

1.Ensures all employees are provided with insurance according to Company policies and all insurance information and records is kept in order and filed.

2.Handles all insurance issues with employees and the Company's insurance carrier.

LABOR LAWS:

1.Ensures the Company is acting within the boundaries of and abiding by all Government Labor Laws and requirements.

2.Acts as the Company's representative in all labor disputes.

ACCIDENTS :

1.Handles all accidents and ensures accident reports are filled out correctly.

2.Handles all relations between the Company and corresponding services regarding accident claims and adjustments.

3.Notifies Management of employees under restrictions.

EMPLOYEE PERSONNEL FORMS:

1.Reviews and takes the required action on Employee Personnel Forms. When required, forwards the Form to the appropriate Executive Manager for approval.

2.Maintains records and files the forms in employees' file.

EMPLOYEE FILES AND RECORDS :

1.Ensures all employee records and files are accurate and kept up-to-date. Ensures that the files contain all Company and Government requirements.

COMPANY FUNCTIONS AND SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:

1.Coordinates and directs all Company special functions and activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

EDUCATION ;

Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or 5+ years experience in Human Resources

EXPERIENCE :

- 5+ years in a Human Resources related position

- Labor Law Management

- Recruiting

- Training requirements and records

- Employee Benefit Packages

- OSHA/MIOSHA Standards

- Preferred: Experience processing payroll with Paylocity, NOVAtime or DM payroll software

- Preferred: Experience implementing new payroll software
