POSITION OVERVIEW: To collect payments on delinquent accounts, identity not yet turned to the collection agency, following the Great Falls Clinic policies and procedures. To assist patients with payment concerns or issues on their accounts. Verify account accuracy and bill patient's insurance as necessary. Provide patients with payment options. Work with Vendors on Self pay accounts. Receives direction from: Director of Collections EDUCATION: High School Diploma EXPERIENCE: 1 year patient accounts or 1 year previous collection experience A minimum of 1 year patient access experience in acute care facility setting can be substituted Previous experience as a hospital cashier, preferred.
