Responsibilities

Develop communication protocol between custom machine learning models and PLC to enable required machine interaction

Develop PLC code for Siemens PLCs using decision from ML MODELS to facilitate required machine action

Develop HMI for overall operation of machine

Program VFD Drives

Program safety circuits

Skills

Must have

Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering or a related field, and at least two years of experience designing and developing automation systems

A strong understanding of PLCs, HMI systems, and communication protocols

Strong understanding of industrial controls and controls panels.

Proficient with Profinet Protocol & OPC-UA framework.

Nice to have

Excellent problem solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, are also required
