Inventory Control Specialist

Pacific Defense is seeking an Inventory Control / Operations Support professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining inventory, kitting, and providing operational support to the engineering staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver received parts to requestors as required.
- Transfer inventory parts into the MRP system and physically to the stockroom.
- Support kitting for build of products internally and for kits outsourced to contract manufacturers.
- Maintain accurate stockroom inventory.
- Receive and fill inventory requests from Engineering or Production with MRP transaction completion.
- Clearly communicate status using established collaboration tools.
- Support incoming receipts of material.
- Support outgoing shipments.
- Support all other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of an MRP system.
- Working knowledge of Arena PLM, or similar Document Control systems.
- Working knowledge of FedEx / UPS shipping process.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Job requires lifting to 45 pounds.
