Detroit, United States Chase Plastics Full time

Business Development Manager (Plastics Industry)

About the OrganizationAt Chase Plastics, we're real people providing real solutions. It's something we've been doing since 1992, when Kevin and Carole Chase independently set out with nothing more than $2,500 in their pocket and a Detroit-bred work ethic. Their goal then - and now - was to do what big distributors would not: provide quality specialty, engineering and commodity thermoplastics for small- to medium-sized applications - and back it up with outrageous customer service.

Today, customer service is more than a value, it's instilled in our DNA, and it's inherent in everything we do. Just like the day we started, we're committed to providing you:

Real solutions that aren't delayed by red tape or inaction

A partnership based on a genuine understanding of your business and your goals

The tools and resources to help you succeed and thrive

EOE StatementWe are an equal employment opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.

+ Active use of a process to maximize call frequency at high-potential OEM's, using concepts such as Call Zone, Account Segmentation, Task Lists, and Target Tracking.

+ Coordinate with key contacts at CPS's corresponding suppliers to bring new opportunities and get preferred distributor status.

+ Strive to achieve your annual performance objectives.

+ Assist in the coordination of or participation of any local trade shows in your geographic territory as deemed appropriate by the marketing manager.

+ Assist in the development of sales tools, such as Chase literature and one-page sell sheets specific to assigned market and materials.

+ Develop Power-Point presentations for general sales use, International Sales Meeting, or other supplier/material specific presentations.
