POSITION SUMMARY
:
The Associate Channel Marketing Manager – Wholesale will work in partnership with the Wholesale Channel marketing team, sales, and channel partners to develop, manage, and implement strategic growth plans to drive demand for Gerber products. The role will foster positive partner relationships that encourage Gerber loyalty and mutual business growth. The role will also support the development and communication of key channel initiatives, channel education and product launches.
RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Have a full understanding of Gerber’s products and their applications, our industry, and channels of distribution
Support the Channel Marketing Manager with activities that drive demand, including the alignment, implementation, and management of marketing plans, campaign execution, and reporting
Support the Channel Marketing Manager with enablement activities to ensure channel partners and sales reps are educated on all programs, tools, and promotions to aid in maximizing Gerber sales
Own the development and implementation of select channel marketing programs, promotions, campaigns, and collateral, from conceptualization through to execution
Participate in the creation of product launch plans and execution to ensure new product success in the wholesale channel
Lead development and implementation of buying group, customer and industry association marketing programs and calendars, in partnership with Channel Marketing Manager and sales leadership
Occasionally lead or have a hand in event planning, such as sales meetings, tradeshows, or training summits
Seek out data and insights (industry, field, customer) to inform channel strategies and tactics
Provide creative direction to internal team members on projects or marketing assets, ensuring the team understands the purpose, vision and use case for each asset
Facilitate ad hoc marketing requests as necessary from customers and sales partners
Create, manage, track, and distribute the wholesale channel marketing calendar
Participate in customer meetings and attend industry shows as needed or determined by Channel Manager

REQUIREMENTS
:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or business preferred.
5+ years of direct, hands-on marketing experience required.
Experience in wholesale, plumbing, or residential construction industry preferred.
Understanding of, and experience with, marketing concepts and strategies required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Exceptional organization and planning skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to establish strong relationships and communication channels with cross functional teams such as sales, product, and brand.
Experience communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
Creative team player who likes to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Perceptiveness to prioritize tasks and pivot focus when necessary.
High standards for quality and performance.
Flexibility to effectively work with others from different cultures, work habits, and management styles.
