In this role, you'll be the face of CK Supply, engaging with customers both in person and over the phone to provide exceptional service and technical expertise. You'll handle inquiries, process sales transactions, and represent our full range of products and services within the Welding, Gas, and Specialty Gas industry.
Success in this position requires a friendly and outgoing personality with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. We're looking for individuals who are self-motivated and capable of working independently after training. Creative problem-solving skills are essential for assisting customers with issues in a safe and responsible manner.
Your primary duties will include engaging with customers to troubleshoot and resolve conflicts, providing creative solutions for customer issues, and becoming an expert in all CK Supply products and services through training and proactive learning. Additionally, you'll maintain a clean and organized showroom and retail area to enhance the customer experience.
To excel in this role, you'll need a High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 5 years of customer service experience in a similar industry preferred. Experience in welding and specialty gas environments is a plus. Strong math, analytical, and attention to detail skills are required, along with the ability to learn and use computer software programs accurately and efficiently.
Physical requirements include prolonged periods of standing, bending, and stooping, as well as the ability to lift or move products weighing up to 75 pounds. Visual acuity and verbal communication skills are necessary to interact with customers and team members effectively.
