Columbus, United States G2O Full time

We’re passionate about designing and delivering top-notch digital experiences for our clients — and their customers — and helping them create efficiencies using data and technology. But what’s most important about us is that we have a diverse team of experts all dedicated to getting clients from goals to outcomes — and that’s where you come in. We are looking for an Application Director to lead our team of developers and oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our web and desktop applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and security of our applications, as well as managing the project timelines, budgets, and resources. You will also collaborate with other directors, managers, and stakeholders to align the application strategy with the business goals and vision. To be successful as an Application Director, you should have extensive experience in .NET application development and .NET web app development, as well as strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You should also have a solid understanding of web services, Azure web apps, and MS Dynamics. Additionally, you should have some knowledge of T-SQL and Azure Entra or be willing to learn them. Responsibilities Plan, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web and desktop applications using .NET technologies and frameworks. Ensure the quality, performance, security, and scalability of the applications and follow the best practices and standards. Manage the application development lifecycle, including the project scope, schedule, budget, and resources. Collaborate with other directors, managers, and stakeholders to understand the business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. Research and evaluate new technologies and tools and recommend solutions to improve the application functionality and user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve any application issues and provide technical support. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. At least 10 years of experience in .NET application development and .NET web app development. Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, LINQ, and other .NET technologies and frameworks. Experience in MS Dynamics administration and development, including CRM, ERP, and Power Platform. Experience in web services, Azure web apps, and Azure DevOps. Knowledge of T-SQL and Azure Entra, or willingness to learn them. Knowledge of CRM Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Attention to detail and quality orientation. More about G2O We’re different than other companies at G2O. We blend the research and design, technology, and data expertise to deliver the solutions our clients crave — and we do all of this as one in-house team, from vision to execution. We’re also the largest company of our kind based in Ohio to do this — and have been evolving how we do it for 40 years. Individually, we bring a wealth of experience from diverse backgrounds — personally and in business. We’re a diverse and passionate team of leaders and experts in technology, data, analytics, design, content, and more. But we think we’re best when we put our minds together. Each person brings something distinct to our team — some unique flavor to their background or their experience. That makes for stronger collaboration — and elevates the outcomes for our clients.
