Description

Performs general functions in the golf course pro shop and schedules patrons for tee times. Works under the general direction of the Manager, Golf & Club Operations.
Essential Job Duties

  • Registers golfers according to tee time schedule and collects fees from patrons.
  • Provides golf course information to the public in person and on phone.
Typical Requirements

Education and Experience:

High school diploma / GED and limited training, or an equivalent combination of formal education and working experience.

Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations:
  • Must possess a valid Florida Class E Driver's License.


Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

Oral communication skills to interact with patrons, answer telephone and record tee times properly.

Knowledge of rules and regulations of a golf course pro shop.

Knowledge of prices for golfing, cart rentals, merchandise sold in shop, etc.

Basic operating knowledge of computers.

Ability to operate cash register and count correct change.

Knowledge of layout of golf course to direct patrons and to provide information.
