JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for serving guests at the coffee shop in the main lobby, creating the perfect morning beverage, and keeping the work areas clean and welcoming for our guests.

AGE REQUIREMENT

Must be at least 21 years of age

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Must have basic food, beverage & sanitation knowledge
  • Display, stock and rotate inventory items as needed
  • Will be working in all Coffee Shop with possible cross train in Bar outlets
  • Keep front and back areas neat and clean at all times
  • Greet and take care of customers
  • Be on time according to schedule
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, with weekends, holidays and night time availability
  • Attend required meetings
  • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests and associates
  • Ability to complete statistical reports as required
  • Will scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures
  • Able to complete projects and assignments thoroughly, professionally, and with care
  • Can adjust to high-pressure conditions and is open to change
  • Able to manage time well with minimal supervision
  • Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development
  • Conducts himherself (acts and dresses with complete, clean uniform) professionally at all times; sets standards for all associates
  • Knowledge of all hotel departments and functions
  • Knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations
  • Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills
  • High school education and relevant training and experience required
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Prior coffee shop experience preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Minimum lifting/pulling of 40 pounds using proper lifting techniques; Anything over 40 pounds requires asking for assistance
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity, continuous standing
  • Hearing, writing, typing
  • Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
