This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-growth, dynamic environment, contributing to both payroll and benefits operations. Responsibilities: Audit invoices related to payroll and benefits. Audit state tax jurisdictions. Handle day-to-day payroll functions, including new hire orientation, terminations, direct deposits, and more for 300+ employees. Ensure compliance with IRS regulations, state taxes, wage and hour laws, and local tax requirements. Oversee benefits enrollments in HRIS, conduct quality checks, and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries. Respond to 401(k) inquiries, manage annual catch-up contribution enrollment, and assist with the open enrollment process. Type reports, memos, letters, and documents using relevant computer software. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and schedule meetings. Perform general office duties, including ordering supplies and maintaining records management database systems. Monitor accounts receivable reports, update payment status information, and reconcile the accounts receivables ledger. Work closely with Collection Managers and Management on firm reporting. Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with bank reconciliation processes. Familiarity with ADP Workforce for payroll. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality. Organized and resourceful with the ability to multitask.
