We are seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join our team at the City of Los Angeles, CA. As a Cement Finisher, you will be responsible for mixing, placing, and finishing concrete surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Mixing, placing, and finishing concrete surfaces
- Acting as head worker on a small crew, providing direction and guidance
- Four years of full-time paid experience with the City of Los Angeles in a class at the level of Cement Finisher Worker
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as a cement finisher
- Four years of full-time paid experience as a cement finisher helper
The examination score will be based entirely on the interview. In the interview, the following competencies may be evaluated: Mathematics, Attention to Detail, Composure, Teamwork, Oral Communication, Reading Comprehension, Safety Focus, Job Knowledge.
Candidates will be notified later by e-mail of the date, time, and location of the interviews, which may be held in Los Angeles or on-line.
