JOB DESCRIPTION
This role's primary responsibility is to lead the efforts of a team of over 10 Unisys associates or contractors. Leading a project or solution team of developers, testers, engineers or support associates to meet critical deliverables. May act as a SCRUM Master. Will be to work on customer projects related to Active Directory and Windows Server technologies. The ideal candidate will possess additional skills with VMWare, Active Directory, DNS, SCCM, and WSUS but not required. The role is expected to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Characteristics that will set this candidate apart: Effective communication, ability to provide instruction and documentation, soft skills, teamwork, process-oriented, positive attitude, and ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development, and implementation of enterprise systems
Provides technical advice and consultation on complex, critical issues and escalations
Learns project management techniques by acting as a team leader on small projects or portions of larger projects
Delegates labor assignments and tracks success criteria for major projects
Develops further depth and expertise in delivery management and may continue on the delivery management path or deepen technical skills in architecture or specialized subject matter expertise.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Proven experience in leading technical teams and project work
Project and day-to-day operational management and support of the company's enterprise-class, mission-critical Citrix infrastructure, including XenApp, XenDesktop, PVS, App-V, and NetScaler environment
Server and application upgrade and/or Data Center migration experience
Knowledge of VMware vSphere infrastructure / AD / DNS / DHCP / GPO. Responsible for supporting the functionality and efficiency of one or more operating systems, mainly Windows Server 2012/2016. Deliver third-level remote hardware and software/OS support services to clients to resolve product use and multi-product/platform problems and questions relating to enterprise systems, networks, and application software, as well as desktop applications.
Technical Skills Required:
Conduct incident investigation and advanced troubleshooting of incidents
Execute complex changes, prepare and execute changes per implementation plans
Coordinate critical customer issues as well as new product and/or system implementations
Relay alerts and situation status information to both client and Unisys management
Provide referrals and/or dispatches to service providers to ensure that the client's service level and technical requirements are met. May prepare technical documentation and ensure that technical and customer documentation is clear, accurate, and complete. Develop and conduct user training, technical training, and orientation. Must have experience working with ServiceNow and execution of ITIL processes. May lead small teams on defined projects.
