Option to become remote from SC after training and probation period. This position provides operational and administrative support for the Appraisal department of the Bank. Coordinates the centralized ordering and review of real estate appraisals through department systems. Ensures that all appraisals are completed quickly and accurately in order to meet loan closing deadlines. Communicates effectively with all parties including lenders, borrowers, and third party vendors. Responsible for retail loan documentation, compliance reviews, and other support tasks that facilitate daily operations. Responsibilities Appraisal Ordering - Coordinates the daily ordering and review of appraisals through a centralized system. Orders and oversees external appraisals through third party vendors. Compliance Review - Performs reviews of real estate appraisals and evaluations to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements as well as internal policies, standards, and procedures. May source missing information or escalate compliance issues. Business Support - Performs various support tasks that occur during client, vendor, or associate inquiries. Ensures that loan closing deadlines are met and assists with requests as needed. Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, procedures, and policies that affect retail real estate loans. Documentation - Responsible for reviewing and maintaining documentation associated with retail loans within the department system. Ensures the accuracy, compliance, and completeness of required documentation. Aids reporting capabilities and effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience in Real Estate, Banking, or Loan Operations OR High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in Real Estate, Banking, or Loan Operations Preferred Skills: 1-2 years experience working for a financial institution or large bank. Preferred Education: Major in Business, Finance, Accounting, or similar field. Required Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities, strong written and verbal communication a must.
