CTH I Licensing and Recruiting Specialist Description

Position Purpose/Summary:

The CTH I (Community Training Home) Licensing & Recruiting Specialist is responsible for recruiting CTH I providers/families, taking them through the licensing process and planning trainings required for all CTH I providers/families.

Essential Functions (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)

  1. Assist in planning and implementation of pre-service and in-service training to families in the CTH I program.
  2. Provide support to CTH I providers/families during the licensing process.
  3. Licensing all potential CTH I providers/families (obtaining all information needed to complete licensing package).
  4. Assist with receiving and matching CTH I placement referrals to appropriate new families as assigned by supervisor.
  5. Represent Lutheran Services Carolinas professionally in the local community.
  6. Assist in the recruitment and retention of CTH I providers/families.
  7. Develop a plan of advertisement for the year in the surrounding counties to promote agency trainings and need for CTH I providers/families.
  8. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  1. Travel in car in the recruitment area is required.
  2. Training in LSC facilities or other facilities on nights/days/weekends when needed.
  3. Speaking engagements, recruiting fairs in community events and/or churches may be required on a frequent basis.
  4. Ambulatory throughout all locations.
  5. Ability to bend, stoop (to floor); reach overhead.
  6. Ability to lift and carry minimum of 25 pounds.


CTH I Licensing and Recruiting Specialist Qualifications

Qualifications (Minimum Job Requirements): Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Education: Associates or Bachelors in Marketing/Business and/or related field of study.

Experience: Two years' experience in marketing/business/recruiting/training preferred.

Specific skills/abilities: Must be comfortable with public speaking. Able to operate computer with Microsoft office tools (word, excel, power point). Relationship building is a must.

Specialized knowledge, licenses, etc: Minimum 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
