Logistics coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join a team on the Northside of Jacksonville. This fully in-office role runs from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and is perfect for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting a dynamic logistics team.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with inventory control. Experience with intermodal logistics is highly preferred, as your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes. Responsibilities
Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates on shipment status. Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
Order Processing: Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and other stakeholders to schedule pickups, deliveries, and transfers of freight. Process orders accurately and efficiently using IMC Companies' proprietary systems and software.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation including bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs paperwork. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Tracking and Monitoring: Monitor the movement of shipments in real-time, proactively identifying any potential delays or disruptions. Communicate with clients and internal teams to address issues and implement solutions promptly.
Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve logistics-related issues such as shipment discrepancies, transit delays, and service failures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
Reporting: Generate and analyze reports to track key performance metrics such as on-time delivery, transit times, and customer satisfaction. Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and optimization.
