Position Information Posting Number: S05672P Position Title: Customer Service Representative Department: Administrative Support Location: Arlington Position Status: Full-time Work Hours: Standard Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm. May require occasional local travel, evening and weekend hours. Salary: Salary is commensurate based on qualifications and relevant experience up to $38,500. Job Summary: Provide customer service to clients and assist with administrative functions for the front office registration team. Responsible for a variety of customer relation duties requiring moderate exercise of independent judgement, initiative, and ability to make decisions relative to university operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, edit, and process incoming customer phone, email, and faxed orders. Handle special and on-site registration and customer service. Attend occasional events on and off campus as assigned. Accurately enter customer and registration information onto any of three (3) registration database software. Look up, edit, analyze, and report from the client management system. Serve as a resource for student employees, providing support and direction when needed. Balance daily cash box. Serve as specialist for programs offered through division, able to answer in-depth questions about course curriculum, objectives, and special registration processes. Communicate with program managers to implement changes or updates to program offerings. Serve as back up for all responsibilities of Lead Customer Service Representative. Significant phone, email and in person interaction with the public. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school graduate with three (3) years of customer service experience, or equivalent relevant experience. One (1) year supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience as a point of contact and subject matter expert for a team. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of the use of standard office equipment. Knowledge of Aceware/Student Manager. Knowledge of Microsoft office products. Excellent computer and organizational skills.
