Role Overview:

We seek a diligent, detail-oriented Credit Repair Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in consumer credit repair, investigation, and dispute resolution. This role involves conducting in-depth investigations into credit report inaccuracies, preparing dispute letters, and assisting our attorneys in litigating cases when creditors and credit bureaus fail to comply with fair credit reporting laws.

Responsibilities:

- Investigate and analyze clients credit reports to identify inaccurate, outdated, or wrongful information.

- Prepare, organize, and file detailed dispute letters and supporting documentation with credit bureaus, creditors, and collection agencies.

- Work directly with clients to understand their credit report issues, gather necessary documents, and update them on case progress.

- Assist attorneys in building cases by gathering evidence, organizing client files, and ensuring deadlines are met.

- Track dispute resolutions and follow up with credit bureaus and creditors to verify the accuracy of clients' credit reports.

- Research relevant federal and state credit reporting laws to ensure compliance and support litigation efforts.

- Draft and edit legal documents, case summaries, and correspondence as required.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal in credit repair, consumer protection, or related legal field.

- Strong knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and familiarity with consumer rights laws.

- Excellent investigative skills with a meticulous eye for detail.

- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a high-energy environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency with case management software and document preparation tools.
