We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Support Specialist to join our team at MUFG Bank, Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Credit Risk Administration and Issue Management to perform various analysis and issue management objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in credit and risk management, with a strong understanding of general corporate credit analysis and credit and risk management principles. They will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Director of Credit Risk Administration and Issue Management with various analysis and issue management objectives
  • Perform control and issue remediation assignments responsibility as assigned by management
  • Coordinate and communicate with First and Second Lines of Defense, BURCO, Americas Credit Review, and Global Internal Audit
  • Support remediation of issues including problem solving to enhance efficiency
  • Perform maker/checker function as needed for various reports and processes
  • Complete research as needed in credit approval and other databases
  • Obtain and maintain knowledge of the Bank's internal credit policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Flexibility to have multiple tasks and/or priorities ongoing simultaneously

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years' experience pertinent to in credit and risk management capacity
  • Knowledge of general corporate credit analysis, credit and risk management is preferred
  • Verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Word/Access/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Able to work independently in a setting with multiple priorities and constrained deadlines
  • Working knowledge of MUFG Bank credit approval and other systems is preferred

The typical base pay range for this role is between $77K - $111K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
