Sr Financial Analyst - IB Appliances Position Summary: This exciting role with IB Appliances Commercial Finance is a fantastic opportunity to gain a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience. As part of our team, you will have access to all parts of the business, managing profit and loss statements and analyzing primary performance drivers including sales, costs, and marketing expense through earnings. Providing financial support and analysis, you will be part of an inspired team dedicated to retaining our best-in-class products and ownership of the kitchen. What will you do? Commercial Finance: Support the commercial finance team with monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and planning requirements for budget and forecast. Provide thorough variance analysis on profitability and key metrics using budget, forecast, and prior year reference points. Identify trends, summarize results, and deliver key takeaways in business reviews to leadership. Support the Direct-to-Consumer business through monthly and ad-hoc analysis to drive profitability and growth. Complete reconciliation between systems to ensure accurate representation of data, facilitate proper analytics, and enable decision making. Carry-out finance analytics at the regional, customer, brand, and sku level. This includes price-volume-mix analysis, profitability for various programs, savings initiatives, and product mix optimization. Complete pricing analysis and updates to send to the pricing specialist. Develop and track business case development and analytics for new products. Data and report pulling from internal business systems such as SAP, BW, or Power BI. Collaborate with business teams to support ad-hoc analyses/special projects based on business needs. Accounting: Assist treasury with cash reporting and forecasting. Support SG&A and A&P planning, reporting, and analysis. Communicate with corporate cost center (department) owners to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing current/planned spend as well as identifying major drivers to budget, forecast, and prior year. Prepare SG&A, A&P and Trade accruals for month-end close reports. Maintain monthly A&P tracker and work closely with the centers of excellence to ensure purchase orders are accurately forecasted and all A&P spend remains within budget. Required Qualifications: Attention to detail: Granular analysis down what is driving variances quantitatively and qualitatively. Understanding and validating internal and external factors to the business. Communication: Effectively communicate results and variance drivers to leadership. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive projects to completion without explicit direction and minimal instruction. Capable of developing strategic relationships with business partners and influence decisions Proficiency in the following programs: Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to learn programs such as: SAP, Power BI, Business Warehouse (BW), Adaptive, and Office Connect, CPG Vision
