Marketing & Customer Support Manager Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years of combined experience in marketing and customer support management, with at least 3 years in each discipline
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is required
  • Knowledge of order entry and fulfillment processes is preferred
  • B2B experience, particularly in dealing with larger companies and direct-to-market strategies
  • Bachelor s degree is required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including formulas)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor) and CRM systems (Job Dynamics) is a plus, though training will be provided
  • Knowledge of logistics is a big plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and structure a new department
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while being an effective communicator across all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to travel and represent the company at trade shows
Marketing & Customer Support Manager Responsibilities:
  • Lead and implement SEO strategies to improve online visibility
  • Conduct market analysis and develop actionable insights to drive marketing strategies
  • Oversee the company s social media presence, particularly on LinkedIn, and assist in launching and maintaining a new website
  • Analyze and report on marketing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the marketing associate to ensure consistent branding and messaging
  • Oversee and develop the customer support team, ensuring accountability and high standards of service
  • Establish and refine processes for order management, from order entry to fulfillment and customer confirmation
  • Provide guidance and support to customer support specialists, helping them navigate complex customer interactions
  • Implement systems and processes to improve customer satisfaction and retention
  • Work closely with the company s leadership to align marketing and customer support strategies with overall business goals
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Regularly travel to industry trade shows (approximately 4 times per year) to represent the company and strengthen customer relationships
