Occasional travel to our west coast site locations will be required as part of the responsibilities. What You’ll Do: The Warranty Administrator is responsible for overseeing training, mentoring, claim quality, claim escalations, daily workload, and receivable aging. Additional responsibilities include; ensuring the team is working effectively and reporting issues to the management team to resolve. The Warranty Administrator will collaborate with other team leads and management for daily goals and process improvement plans. Job Duties: Respond to internal and external customers timely with the highest level of customer service Ensure claim legitimacy and adherence to warranty agreements and company policy. Keep management informed of major issues and exceptions Audit existing asset specifications and warranty Hold vendors accountable to communicated deadlines Assist in internal and external audits Travel on occasion to areas of responsibility (AoR) Excel Spreadsheet Preparation & Data Mining Reviewing Metrics and Key Performance Indicator tracking (KPI’s) Coaching & Training Service team members on warranty concepts and application Required Skills and Qualifications: 2-5 years of warranty industry experience is preferred Basic knowledge of automotive/truck parts and components preferred Skills in Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, and Accounts Receivable Computer Proficiency & Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Excellent attention to detail skills and capable of meticulous work Excellent time management and organizational skills Excellent customer service and Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail Flexibility to travel, including overnight stays, as needed Compensation: $24-$29/hour depending on skills and experience + bonus performance pay plan Full Time Position Benefits Velocity Vehicle Group Offers: Fantastic Culture 401k + match Health, Dental & Vision Insurance + HSA & FSA Employer paid Life Insurance Paid Vacation Days Company perks such as employee discounts, company events and training programs Velocity Vehicle Group is an equal opportunity employer.
