Your Contributions Will Include:
- Meeting the designated teaching responsibilities.
- Actively engaging in the evaluation and enhancement of course materials and curriculum as part of the university's continuous improvement initiatives.
- Regularly updating and refining class resources and syllabi.
- Exhibiting a passion for teaching and fostering a positive learning atmosphere for students.
- A terminal degree is preferred, though candidates currently pursuing one may be considered.
- Compliance with the qualifications and standards set by relevant accreditation bodies for your area of expertise.
- Maintenance of necessary professional certifications for the teaching role.
- Licensure to practice physical therapy in California (if applicable).
- 0-4 years of teaching experience in a higher education setting or previous designation as an assistant professor from an accredited institution.
- Experience with online learning management systems to enhance student engagement is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of applicable state, federal, and local regulations related to educational programs and compliance standards.
- Willingness to travel locally as needed and occasionally to other campuses.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus but not required.
Compensation Overview
Salary Range: USD $95,000 - $138,553.54 per year.
Bonus Information
Not eligible for bonuses.
