Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your experience and expertise in the field of electrical engineering, developing a diverse portfolio of projects. You will be responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of complex electrical systems, providing solutions to a diverse clientele including multinational industry leaders. Your responsibilities will also include performing calculations for the sizing and installation of electrical equipment, utilizing various electrical codes and standards, developing detailed equipment specifications, designing power distribution and grounding systems, and overseeing junior engineers and technicians. Furthermore, you will play an active leadership role in the design development and delivery of final documents for electrical projects.Hard SkillsBachelor of Science in Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) License in Minnesota10+ years recent experience in electrical engineering and design of electrical equipment within industrial and commercial facilitiesKnowledge of electrical distribution equipment including circuit breakers, motors, mcc's, drives, low voltage field devices, instrumentation, lighting, circuit protection, power monitoring equipment, transformers, wiring systems, switchgear and grounding systemsSoft SkillsAbility to analyze data and prepare reportsExperience in delivering presentationsAbility to mentor and oversee junior engineers and techniciansAbility to collaborate with multidisciplinary groupsExperience in project planning and developmentAbility to provide engineering guidanceAbility to perform QA/QC reviews throughout the design development processExperience in developing project options and alternativesAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
