Within our Procurement Advisory practice, we collaborate with our clients to develop a current-state assessment of their procurement function utilizing a best practice-based maturity scale, setting goals for long term improvement in each of the pillars of Procurement while identifying areas of specific focus. We provide a gap assessment along with customized recommendations and a business case to resolve the pain points identified in the current state assessment. Our team of advisors then supports the client in the execution of the recommendations that include a variety of activities including process mapping and redesign, policy and procedure creation and rollout, technology requirements collection and provider selection, PMO services, special program development, governance structures, and change management support.

Your deliverables and results will be presented to the extended management team allowing you to showcase your strengths to senior management - whether it be implementing processes, negotiating pricing and business terms with suppliers, or assisting in internal development and process improvement. This exposure will allow you to gain valuable industry insights and help you establish the foundation for becoming a consultant. You will be assigned a direct report manager who is responsible for instilling personal growth and guiding your career development, providing critical knowledge and skills for your career success while building on your existing capabilities.

We pride ourselves on being a positive consulting practice, and place value on a work/life balance. This means thoughtful, sustainable workloads, as well as professional development support, pairing you with Subject Matter Experts and Industry Leaders to help you reach your career goals.

As a Senior Analyst, you will:

  • Implement processes, negotiate pricing and business terms with suppliers, and assist in internal development and process improvement.
  • Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to overcome complex challenges and determine the most effective and efficient ways to deliver results.
  • Perform data manipulation and analysis, identifying issues and solutions through client and supplier discussions.
  • Research and communicate market trends, utilizing market intelligence to shape path-forward decisions.
  • Support the advisory team by driving strategic recommendations that will produce substantial, implementable results for our clients.
  • Support the development of high-quality deliverables and refine your presentation capabilities.

You'll need to have:

  • Relevant work experience in sourcing, procurement, consulting, project management or a related discipline in a professional work environment.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (including Excel formula writing).
  • Confidence, enthusiasm, and intrinsic curiosity, with demonstrated ability to transform direction, feedback, and strategy into profitable decision making.
  • A driven, self-motivated attitude exemplifying professionalism and business acumen
  • A strategic, detail-oriented mindset and critical thinking capabilities, with aptitude for analytics and solution-based problem solving
  • Ability to effectively analyze quantitative and qualitative data sets to identify and shape meaningful strategy
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team-based setting, and effectively transition focus and support across a variety of cross-functional teams and projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to effectively develop innovative solutions and communicate complex deliverables
  • Relationship building skills, with capability to foster stakeholder and supplier relationships
  • Ability to adapt and integrate with various client's cultures

(We want to make sure you're set up to succeed, and we view these as the critical skills you'll need to achieve great things at Corcentric)

It's great if you also have:

  • Relevant experience supporting a consulting practice in the supply chain or procurement space
  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline

(Psst...Don't worry if you don't check all these boxes... we view this as helpful experience that can shorten ramp-up time)
