Job Overview

The Valuation Services team is dedicated to delivering impartial valuations for purposes such as financial reporting, taxation, and strategic management planning. Analysts engage in diverse projects, which encompass business enterprise valuations, allocation of purchase prices, valuations of intellectual property, assessments of stock options, and consulting for disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting valuation assessments across a variety of public and private organizations spanning multiple sectors, utilizing recognized methodologies and theoretical frameworks.
  • Independently sourcing relevant data through client interactions, including in-person meetings and site visits.
  • Creating financial models for discounted cash flow analysis, market multiples, market transactions, and option pricing.
  • Documenting and presenting findings and conclusions through comprehensive written reports.
  • Actively participating in the creation of proposals, presentations, and publications.
  • Collaborating with management to foster and sustain client relationships.
  • Identifying potential engagements and communicating these to management, including drafting engagement letters.
  • Overseeing administrative tasks related to engagements, such as code generation, reporting, and invoicing.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an MBA, or a professional qualification in Finance or Accounting (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CPA, CA).
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in developing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models, including DCF, comparable company, stock option, and intangible asset models.
  • Prior practical experience in finance-related roles (e.g., private equity, audit, valuation, M&A) is advantageous.
  • A strong commitment to achieving exceptional results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, alongside strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
