The Opportunity:
Do you want to use your financial, analytical, and statistical skills to help our clients get the most out of their funding to protect our national security? As a cost analyst, youll review complex financial and cost data, build cost analysis models, perform cost-benefit and cost-savings analyses, and utilize earned value management (EVM) principles throughout the DoD acquisition process, and design leadership presentations and dashboards.
This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on our countrys defense acquisition and contracts process. As a cost analyst, youll work as part of a cross-functional integrated program management team with clients to translate program requirements into cost estimates. Youll use your knowledge and skills to gather relevant data, document assumptions, and develop Program Office Estimates and Independent Government Cost Estimates. Youll help introduce and recommend new ideas and solutions to clients that deliver visible insights with tangible results while being part of a supportive team that always helps you and roots you on. You Have:
3+ years of experience with performing detailed cost or financial estimation, analysis, or forecasting
Experience with DoD cost analysis documentation, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and Schedule Analysis, and Cost Analysis Requirement Descriptions (CARDs)
Experience collecting and analyzing cost and technical data to develop functional cost models
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Knowledge of cost analysis and estimating techniques and methodologies within the DoD
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience developing and evaluating metrics and data trends across a program lifecycle
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFAR)
International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association certification
Defense Acquisition University Business Cost Estimating or PMP certification
Certified Cost Estimator Analyst (CCEA) or Professional Cost Estimator Analyst (PCEA) certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
