Patrick Industries is growing and looking to add a Financial Analyst to its Corporate Finance Team. The Financial Analyst will support our Director of Enterprise Analytics who is responsible for the oversight, leadership and coordination of financial, operational and sales data. In this position, you will have exposure to Senior Leaders and have the ability to gain experience and knowledge of growing companies within our vast Organization
Responsibilities:
Working closely with Finance and Accounting Teams, the Financial Analyst will work to
prepare and present financial/operational analysis and reports to senior management and external stakeholders and monitor financial performance and identify trends and anomalies.
Essential job functions will include:
Pull, consolidate, and analyze data from various sources
Maintain cross reference files and security
Assist in month-end and quarter-end close
Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
Assist with internal and external audits throughout the year
Identify and implement efficiency opportunities
Assist in process improvement projects
Drive special projects as needed within the team and with others outside of the immediate group
Work collaboratively with the team and across all functional areas
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting preferred
Candidates with 1+ year experience working in FP&A, Data Analytics, Accounting, will also be considered in Lieu of a degree
Previous experience building dashboards using PowerBI strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to assimilate data to convey both strategic and tactical messaging in a clear, concise and professional manner
Self-motivated with proven track record showing the ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently with limited oversight
Strong attention to detail
Strong personal accountability and follow-through skills
Strong analytical/critical thinking
A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities
