Key Deliverables•Implement risk management strategies and practices.•Maintain filing systems regarding employees EHS training.•Evaluate new incoming material streams for compatibility with our permits and safetyprograms.•Oversees management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance withregulatory requirements•Review project statement of work documents for EHS considerations.Key Activities & Responsibilities•Plans and implements procedures, programs and files regulatory reports in compliance withthe local, state and federal guidelines.•Plans and implements programs to train all employees to meet standards and to enhancethe company safety culture. Coordinates new employee safety orientation program andemployee safety training.•Develop, implement and manage EH&S policies, programs and practices.•Maintain liaison with outside organizations such as fire department, mutual aid societies andrescue teams to assure information exchange and mutual assistance.•Direct the development of specialized education and training materials.•Responsible for incident investigation and corrective actions.
