**Job Summary:**

We are searching for a Customer Service Specialist in our Commercial Division to serve as a direct liaison between customers, sales, and all company departments, ensuring timely and accurate order processing. This role provides exemplary service in resolution of customer inquiries and concerns. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

Manually process orders, credits, and return authorizations.

Assist the EDI Specialist with daily EDI order processing.

Communicate order issues, such as pricing errors or inventory shortages, to our customers and our sales team.

Maintain data in our ERP system to facilitate order and invoice processing, eliminating errors.

Make use of customer portals to retrieve orders, providing acknowledgement/acceptance of items, quantities, verification of pricing, terms, ASNs and creation of bookings and invoices.

Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:**

Required Education: Associates degree or high school diploma with equivalent customer service experience in a consumer goods industry. **Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively collaborating with others.

Strong self-starter who actively initiates projects and drives projects to completion.

Skilled at handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with a reputation for being accurate, responsive, and well organized.

Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Ability to handle periods of high activity. **Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**

Experience with ERP systems such as Infor LX, SAP, or similar systems

Basic EDI experience **Work Environment:**

The individual is exposed to a typical office environment with ambient room temperature, lighting, and traditional office equipment.

The performance of this position requires occasional exposure to the warehouse, which requires employees to wear close toed shoes. **Physical Requirements:**

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk a minimum of 8 hours per day.

Individuals may be required to reach above shoulder height, below waist or lift as required to file documents or to reach for product throughout the workday; lifting will include up to 25 pounds. Proper lifting techniques are required. The physical and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
