Responsibilities
  • Conduct hearing evaluations on students with suspected hearing impairments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with hearing impairments
  • Provide appropriate amplification, hearing assistive technology, and technical support to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support the students' academic progress and socialization
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student evaluations, progress, and services provided
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student intervention plans
  • Stay up-to-date with research and advancements in audiology to provide the best services to our students.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in Audiology
  • Current state licensure in audiology
  • Prior experience in child audiology, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of hearing assistive technology and equipment for students with hearing impairments
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and situations.
