Human Resources Business Partner, Director

to join their team. They are offering a hybrid schedule, management of 3 direct reports, and this is a fantastic opportunity to join the

transportation

industry

Duties:

Act as the "one stop shop" for all things HR related for the organization Strategize and execute business strategy into human capital business plans; develop and execute human capital strategy through the implementation of programs, processes, and tools. Drive change management practices to enable organizational effectiveness. Identify, implement, and lead program and process improvement opportunities to drive business requirements. Coach and mentor leaders on organizational and individual employee performance needs. Plan and recommend talent management initiatives to support business requirements.

Strong experience in employee relations, investigations and employee engagement. Oversee consistent application of human resource policies, programs and services. Interact with management and supervisors to provide counseling and advice regarding HR policies and procedures. Well-versed in state and federal employment law. This includes but is not limited to; EEOC, ADAAA, HIPAA, FMLA, Workers Compensation, OSHA, COBRA, ERISA and Wage and Hour laws. Well-versed in EEOC, AAP, and SCA compliance. Management of the Benefits program to include open enrollment and working with the brokers / vendors. Management of assigned staff in their performance (three direct reports). Participates on committees and special projects as assigned and required. Leave Management Oversight.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required UKG experience is requiring Multi-site, Multi-state experience required 7+ years experience in Human Resources is required with at least 5 years in a management / supervisory role Ability to do overnight travel once a month
