We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to work collaboratively with a highly talented cross-functional team to create best-in-class solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment and has a passion for developing high-quality, maintainable code for internal and external facing products written in Microsofts .Net Framework. The Senior Solution Architect, API works with our design team and clients (internal and external) to understand, document, scope, and execute projects. This person will be adept at gathering and understanding requirements, proposing logical and physical architectural directions, able to do proof of concepts as well as be an individual contributor to delivering a project. The Senior Solutions Architect, API will be committed to excellent customer service and product development with the ability to continually evolve/improve productivity and environment and learn new development trends/practices.

Required Skills:

  • Strong SQL skills (Must)
  • Prior experience and usage of Entity framework core (Must)
  • Experience with development patterns
  • 4 or More Years of .Net (C#, VB.Net, etc.) (Must)
  • 3 or More Years of Entity Framework and SOAP / REST API (Must)
  • 2 or More Years of MVC and TCP/IP, DNS, IIS, web servers (Must)
  • Automated builds and deployment configuration experience using TFS (Team Foundation System) Build Servers (Must)
  • Experience with headless browsers and API development and testing tools
  • Excellent OO fundamentals and expertise
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and course correct as business drivers change
  • Front end development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and a responsive design framework like bootstrap

Required Experience:

  • Four-year college degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • At least 8-10 years of development history with demonstrable experience in architecting and designing non-trivial systems
  • Three years’ or more experience in API development, database and middle tier component design
  • Test Driven Development, mocking frameworks, IoC, dependency injection
  • Experience developing applications on Windows Server / Linux Server environments
  • Experience working with Agile Development methodologies
