**_JOB IS LOCATED IN Calvert City, Kentucky_****SEEKING SHIPFITTERS FOR FAST PACED WORK ENVIRONMENT****NEED TO HAVE PROPYLENE TORCH EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE****$28-34 an hr $100 a day per diem for travelers )**Job Description:+ Ability to layoff piece parts for fabrication and assembly+ Ability to assemble structural piece parts in accordance with specifications in a quality manner+ Ability to comprehend complex structural assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches to include weld symbols, material types, datum and reference lines.+ Ability to comprehend fractional dimensions as with the use of a ruler.+ Ability to layoff piece parts for fabrication and assembly.+ Ability to assemble structural piece parts in accordance with specifications in a quality manner.+ Experience working in a physically demanding environment (shipbuilding, steel fabrication, etc.).+ Familiarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry.+ Use vibratory tools (grinders and needle guns).**Skills:**Blueprint, Fitting, Stainless steel, cutting torch, Shipbuilding, Tack, wire welding, Mig welding, steel fitting**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**Must have commercial or naval shipbuilding experience**Experience Level:**Intermediate Level**About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
