We're seeking a Merchandising Coordinator to support our growing team. The Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for providing high-level merchandising support through researching, procuring, and quoting promotional products and apparel. In addition, the position requires accurate recordkeeping, key business process input maintenance, vendor coordination, follow-through on communications and providing customer support. This position reports to the Director of Merchandising.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assist Merchandising Team in ideating and procuring promotional products, accessories and apparel for key client accounts.
  • Ideate, collaborate, and work with domestic and overseas vendors to source and quote branded merchandise and POS for key clients
  • Build product presentations and mock-ups for client approval
  • Create, submit, and track purchase orders to vendors and decorators
  • Provide support to the Director of Merchandising, ensuring schedules are met and merchandise is delivered by in-hands date
  • Approve artwork and logo pre-production samples
  • Update and maintain vendor/item database ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data
  • Manage the setup of new items in systems (internal and customer account)
  • Conduct Market research and stay ahead of industry trends
  • Contribute and support department initiatives
Requirements

Required Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, effectively interacts with all levels within the organization.
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong Innovative and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator strongly preferred
  • Focus on customer service
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at time.
  • Ability to travel 10%
