Position Summary:

Responsible for supporting PRA's effective compliance with clients' post sale requirements and expectations by providing best-in-class customer support. Primary focus will be leading the client services team, to include the organization, coordination, and execution of post purchase related work. Responsible for establishing and maintaining rapport with Sellers. Ensures compliance with various contract terms including media fulfillment, seller reporting, and secures affidavit and witness support as needed to position PRA as a leader in the debt collection industry.
Key Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Establish productive working relationships with clients, ensuring that post purchase requests are handled in a high-quality manner, consistently within established SLA's.
  • Assist GC and Legal with counterclaim defense by securing business records affidavits and deposition witnesses as needed. Liaise with these departments to establish and enforce a qualification standard for making such defense related requests of our clients.
  • Create and maintain relationships with external and internal partners. Liaise between Acquisitions, Legal, Media, GC, Compliance, Strategy and Operations to ensure PRA is receiving the follow through it needs from its clients for all post servicing operations. Coordinate and conduct quarterly servicing reviews with clients to discuss trends and opportunities for servicing relationship improvements.
  • Aid in the organization, development and coordination of department procedures and workflow pertaining to client services. Make recommendations for process improvement and oversee the implementation of identified improvements.
  • Assists with project coordination and internal training of client requirements. Work with Compliance to ensure that PRA is fulfilling such requirements and help remediate deficiencies where we fall short.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies across areas of organizational responsibility.
  • Escalate internal and external matters to VP of BDCS and/or key client contact(s) on matters involving client services.
  • Direct media monitoring fulfillment and ensure client media commitments are met, escalate issues timely to management and oversee remediation as necessary.
  • Create management reporting of client services activities.
  • Maintain awareness of industry and market trends for potential opportunities and propose changes when needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Client Services Specialists as they lead PRA's client services efforts with America's clients.
  • Oversee compliance with seller commitments to include contractual reporting, quarterly business reviews, customer account updates, and seller audit support, as needed.
  • Prepare annual reviews; prepare change of status reports for employees assigned to team.
  • Direct client specific training programs for Client Services Specialists
  • Interviews employees to work in client services.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing, operations, or a demonstrable equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing compliance with client or contracted relationships, preferably in the collections industry
  • Minimum of 3 years managing people
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in the use of Power BI reporting, with an emphasis on the analysis of data to determine potential anomalies or outliers.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills
  • Must have high attention to detail.
  • Advanced in communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in handling multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
