Position Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, business plans, and sales forecasts to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration. Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and product offerings to drive sales growth and expand market share.

Sales Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and coach a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team, including setting performance expectations, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing sales training programs. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team to drive results and exceed customer expectations.

Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and channel partners to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. Develop strategic account plans, negotiate contracts, and oversee account management activities to ensure long-term customer retention and loyalty. Monitor account performance, identify growth opportunities, and address customer concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.

Sales Performance and Reporting: Monitor sales performance metrics, sales pipelines, and KPIs to track progress toward sales targets and identify areas for improvement. Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing sales strategies and tactics. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management to communicate sales performance, trends, and opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including marketing, product development, operations, and finance to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Facilitate cross-functional teamwork and communication to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and alignment across departments.

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats. Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives. Leverage market insights and competitive intelligence to develop differentiated value propositions and sales messaging that resonate with target customers.

Sales Process Optimization: Streamline sales processes, workflows, and systems to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and optimization of sales processes to drive productivity and scalability. Implement best practices, tools, and technologies to enhance sales performance and accelerate revenue growth.

Sales Team Culture and Morale: Foster a positive and inclusive sales team culture characterized by teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect. Promote a high-performance environment that celebrates achievements, recognizes contributions, and encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the lighting industry or related field. Proven track record of driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and building successful sales teams. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.

Salary: Competitive salary range of $95,000 to $1,10,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
