Tender Function – Project RFQ specification verification (80% of the workload) & Sales Function – Application support to Sales Function (20% of the workload)

For all targeted RFQs, to read, highlight and list key points from technical specification and SLDs for the tender team to quote

To select and list key components for the tender team to quote

To interpret and breakdown the load list for the tender team to quote

If necessary and appropriate, to propose the needed components and accessories not mentioned in SLD and specification for solutions to work, and to list them for the tender team to quote

Compute heat dissipation and estimate panel sizing

List down key areas of non-standard design or special application design with solution. The purpose is to ensure that all areas of cost are captured in targeted RFQs to enhance hit-rate and profitability.

Joint pre-sales visit with sales colleague to influence on application and clarification on customer’s requirement.

Participate in tender interview and clarification, on site and off site

Communicate to QS on the customer’s requirement for accurate costing.

Support Sales and QS during post-tender clarification on application query to win the award.

Requirements:

5 to 10 years career path in product technical marketing, application, servicing, or project management in Electrical industry.

Team players and willing to impart know-how to cross-function peers.

Customer-centric to meet customer expectations and knowledge to provide application solutions in low voltage switchboard.

Experience in Switchboard Industry is an advantage.
