This will be achieved through:60% business development / 40% project deliveryHelp evolve the teams strategy and development plans to achieve the teams business targets and brand goals through customer-focused engagement and work winningSupporting the overall long-term strategy, growth, and pipeline development of multi discipline engineering work for Buro Happold within the regionExternally focused for 60% of the time, develop and strengthen client and collaborator relationships through business to business meetings and industry eventsSupport and mentor the team in work winning strategyMaintaining and developing the highest standards of project deliveryFurther responsibilities will include: Develop KPIs with the partner in charge and align these with the regional strategyDevelop the reputation of Buro Happold structural engineering as the best in class across a range of size, sectors, and multi-discipline projects within the local market, region and USAssist with developing fee estimates for all project types and ensure projects are delivered profitably, on schedule, and within scope and budgetSet a strong example of client care and general consultancy, and support your team to do the sameManage relationships with internal and external clients, engineers and other stakeholders. Utilize opportunities to further work and win new commissions.Candidate Profile:Significant track record of client engagement, and of an established client relationship network in California15+ years of experienceMasters Degree in Structural Engineering preferredLicensed California SEProven work winner within, but not limited to, culture, aviation, science & tech, higher education, and sports sectorsAbility to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of internal and external sources, including senior management, clients, regulators, and company-wide staffConfident, proactive character, with a track record of taking the lead in challenging situationsWhat we offer:Salary range of $130,000 to $180,000 (Associate Principal) to $160,000 to $240,000 (Principal).
