You will have a strong background in industrial control systems and a proven ability to design, implement, and maintain complex control solutions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing control strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality. Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement advanced control systems for manufacturing processes, including PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA system integration. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify process improvement opportunities and develop control strategies to address them. Analyze process data to optimize control parameters and improve system performance. Troubleshoot control system issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner. Stay up-to-date with the latest control system technologies and industry best practices. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred). 5+ years of experience in industrial control system design, specializing in chemical processing or metallurgy. Proficiency in experience in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley) and SCADA (Ignition) systems. Strong understanding of control theory principles, including adaptive and model predictive control strategies. Familiarity with process instrumentation and industrial communication protocols relevant to metal manufacturing and production Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
