Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team at NEL Frequency Controls. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our frequency control products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, adhering to industry regulations and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes, procedures and flow charts company wide.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electronic components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify, document, and resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence of quality issues and assurance of 8D reports
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and quality records.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide training and support to team members on quality assurance processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in the electronics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Knowledgeable with electronic testing equipment and software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in quality assurance (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with frequency control products and related standards.
  • Experience with reliability testing and failure analysis.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
