The PET Process Supervisor is responsible for supervising PET machine operators on the production floor. This position plans and assigns work, implements and enforces policies & procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Roles/Responsibilities

+ Handle and operate any machinery, tools or equipment used safely while performing job duties.

+ Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.

+ Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.

+ Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager.

+ Provide leadership

+ Perform accident investigations.

+ Maintain proper inventory levels.

+ Manage department priorities.

+ Track absenteeism and timekeeping.

+ Communicate effectively with Plant Manager & Human Resources

Required Education and Experience

+ High School Diploma/GED

+ Ability to learn basic measurements/mathematics

+ 3-5 years production/manufacturing experience

+ Plastics experience
