Responsibilities

Working closely with Finance core functions to comprehend requirements and identify opportunities for process automation. Act as a liaison between technical and financial teams, ensure effective communication and understanding of business needs. Gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain software and data solutions to automate cost allocations and streamline accounting processes. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions. Help develop ongoing master data management and data quality best practices within Tower. Monitoring and ensuring robust state of production systems.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a software developer, data engineer, or data analyst in the Finance domain. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Python, Microsoft Access, Tableau and Linux shell scripting; additional proficiency in Java is a bonus. At least 3 years of experience working with SQL (ie. MySQL, PostGres) and NoSQL (ie. MongoDB, ElasticSearch) databases hosted both on premise and in the cloud. Experience working with integrations for both file based (ie. SFTP) and web services (ie. REST) solutions Experience in Process Automation. Strong problem-solving abilities. Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
