About the role:

TQL is looking for an established industry leader, who has a history of success in Warehousing sales.As a new Sales Manager in our Warehouse department, you will be responsible for driving Warehousing revenue growth, sales strategies, and for the hiring, coaching, and development of Account Representatives (AR) and support staff.

What you'll be doing:
  • Work directly with Sales Team and Leaders to identify opportunities and drive brokerage revenue for Warehousing services
  • Build and grow the Warehousing support team to handle current and future business
  • Establish effective relationships across the organization to achieve all sales and operational goals
  • Provide support on sales calls when needed, pertaining to Warehousing shipments
  • Assist in establishing and developing carrier and vendor relationships to grow our Warehousing services
  • Responsible for communicating updates, progress, and issues to executive leadership
  • Travel as needed for customer/carrier meetings and industry conventions
  • Assist ARs with strategies to ensure sales targets are met and that a high level of customer service is delivered to the sales floor and customers/carriers
  • Monitor sales reports, take appropriate action, and communicate trends and market conditions to the Director and Vice President
  • Resolve escalated accounting/claims issues when needed
What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in Warehousing 4PL sales
  • 3+ years' sales management experience, preferably leading a team of 10+
  • Experience negotiating SLAs and overseeing leasing strategies is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate others
  • On call, receiving calls from carriers, clients, prospects and sales associates 24/7/365
  • Capable of providing strong professional references - customer, superior, peer, and direct-report
